This seminar and workshop is being presented at a brand new seminar facility attached to Maz Mashru’s Portrait House studio at 111-113a Belgrave Road, Leicester, LE4 6AS, Phone: 01162 68 0822.

This interactive presentation is aimed at elevating attendee-marketing profile by refining both lighting and posing techniques and corporate identity. Based on research that demonstrates professional image and presentation is key to market success and corporate bottom line we will show how to improve corporate identity and establish a community reputation that draws clients from outside our immediate market area.

WHAT WE WILL COVER

POSING AND LIGHTING TECHNIQUES for individual and groups portraits for both wedding and studio clients that present a professional image.

ELEMENTS OF OUR CORPORATE IDENTITY. This will include our personal image, our reception presentation and introduction, business card styles, letterhead, brochures and telephone techniques as well as the little things that make the difference.

SALES TECHNIQUES AND PRICING STRATEGIES. Pricing and sales strategies are either successful or failures. Our bottom line depends on our ability to foster client trust and sales techniques that present options that lead clients to invest in our skills without compromising our target market.

Norman Phillips Seminars is directed by Norman Phillips who has accumulated more than 250 images that have earned the coveted score of 80 or better, 12 Best of Show ribbons as well as numerous First Awards in various regional, national and international competitions. He has been Registered as a Master Photographer by Britain’s Master Photographers Association (AMPA), has a Fellowship with the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (FSWPP), a Fellowship Degree from Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois (FPPANI), awarded a Technical Fellowship from Chicagoland Professional Photographers Association (FCPPA), Accolade of Photographic Mastery from Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (APM-WPPI), Accolade of Outstanding Photographic Achievement from WPPI (AOPA), accolade of Highest Photographic Achievement (AHPA), Accolade of Exceptional Photographic Achievement from WPPI (AEPA), Accolade of Lifetime Photographic Excellence & Recognition of Contribution to the Industry from WPPI (ALPE). Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution and Dedication and Service to the Photographic Industry from SWPP. He is an Honored member of the International Executive Guild. Four of his images were included in the World Council of Professional Photography Traveling Exhibit. Norman is a 4 times winner of the Chicagoland Professional Photographers Association (CPPA) Annual Portrait Award and also the Annual Wedding Award, both in successive years as well as numerous other First Place Awards. He also has won the CPPA Print of the year Award 7 Times. Twice awarded International Photographer of the Year by SWPP in 2001 and 2003. He has 4 prints in the World Council of Professional Photography Traveling Exhibit.
Norman has presented more than 220 seminars, programs and workshops including numerous PPA Super Monday programs.
He is a frequent judge at local, regional and international print competitions.”
