$45.00

This video shows how we should use studio lighting and the difference between specula and soft light accessories such as, soft boxes as main lights, hair lights, fill lights and reflectors.

The video is good for both beginners and as a refresher for the more experienced photographer seeking to enhance his or her skills in lighting our subjects.

Wedding Sessions at Speed
By: Norman Phillips

$45.00

This video shows a sequence of images captured in twenty minutes due to the fact that the bride was fifty minutes late and everyone was due to be at the church twenty minutes later.

In this first sequence of images you will see how the positioning and posing was allowed to follow smoothly without the need to change either location or the basic posing. A second set shows a sequence captured at a workshop in York, England, where again there was virtually no change of location or the primary posing.

Boudoir and Glamor
By: Norman Phillips

$45.00

This video shows how to create sensitive and tasteful yet sensual and provocative images that women may wish to present to their significant other or simply to enhance her personal confidence.

This is accomplished with lighting, posing and props with the posing delicately arranged so that they do not cross the line at which the images may be seen as pornographic. The video also demonstrates how the photographer should approach his or her subject and the psychology required to coax the desired expressions from the subject.

Working With Hands
By: Norman Phillips

$45.00

Posing of hands and arms is one of the most challenging skills because when not done well they can easily ruin a portrait and frequently does.

This video demonstrates techniques that allow hands and arms to be posed elegantly and where needed discretely for both male and female subjects and also for couples that apply to both wedding and portrait photography. These techniques require practice and the techniques shown are a guide from which to begin. It is also recommended that when a suitable hand pose is not easily obtained the hands should not be shown.
